Family Scavenger Hunt At Devil’s Den

WESTON — Children ages 5 and up and their parents are invited to visit The Nature Conservancy’s Devil’s Den Preserve on Saturday, August 4, from 9:30 to 11:30 am, for a Family Scavenger Hunt.

Each family group will be given a sheet of paper listing items for them to spot along the trails. The items may be natural or manmade, but they will be relatively easy to find along the trails, and searching will not involve any foraging off established paths deep into the woods.

The program will be held by natural history guides Bob Eppinger and Heather Seymour.

There is no charge for this program, but reservations are required. Call the Devil’s Den office at 203-226-4991 weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm for reservations and directions to the preserve at the end of Pent Road in Weston.
