Loving Daughter, Mother, And Sister
Janice E. (Murphy) Anderson, 59, of Sandy Hook, died peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, October 12, in Watertown, Mass. She was the loving wife of the late John S. Anderson, and the daughter of Joan H. Murphy and the late James P. Murphy of Massapequa Park, N.Y.
Ms Anderson was a graduate of St Johnâs University in New York. As an involved stay-at-home mom she was active in school and civic activities.
Following the death of her husband she joined Pitney Bowes, developing a successful 15-year career as a sales training professional. She enjoyed traveling the world, including her annual trip to Marthaâs Vineyard with her girls.
In addition to her mother, three loving daughters, Denise N. Anderson, Susan E. Anderson, and Megan E. Dube, and her husband Michael, and their daughter, Moira; three brothers and their wives, James P. and Carol Murphy, John W. and Joyce Murphy, and Justin D. and Kathleen Murphy; and nine nieces and nephews survive Ms Anderson.
A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, October 17. Burial was in St Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, N.Y.
