There may be a couple of future Phil Mickelsons or future Sergio Garcias among the multitudes of young golfers who take to the Rock Ridge Country Club course on Tuesdays, but even if there isn’t PGA professional Bill Flood is still having a good time.

“I have more than 100 kids in my junior programs,” said Flood, who earned his PGA status last year after completing his studies. “It’s great. We have a lot of kids out there playing golf. When my youngest group gets out there, it’s really something.”

Each Tuesday – at different points throughout the day – is filled with young hopefuls taking to the links, playing a couple of holes before getting in some work at the driving range, the putting green, or in the sand trap.

And Flood is there to guide them on the way.
