Helen Super

Helen (O’Donnell) Super, of Trumbull, beloved wife of George Super, died July 9 in Bridgeport Hospital.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Wittmer and her husband, Kenneth, of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport to the late Stephen and Vera (Plitnick) Oleshkevich, she had been a lifelong city resident, living in Trumbull the last 22 years. Mrs Super was a retired timekeeper for VCA.

Survivors include her husband, George Super; a son, Robert O’Donnell and his wife, Alicia, of Stratford; six grandchildren, Kevin, Brian and Kenneth Wittmer, Tech Sgt Robert O’Donnell, and Marci and Timothy O’Donnell; four great-grandchildren, Keith, Kevin Richard, Alex and Madison Wittmer; two sisters, Anna Super and Mary Drabb and her husband, Nicholas, both of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund O’Donnell, and a brother, John Oleshkevich.

Funeral services were held on July 12 in St Catherine of Siena Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment took place in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.

The Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, was entrusted with the arrangements.
