DUI Charge

Police report that while on patrol about 12:20 am April 25, they spotted a motorist in a vehicle with its engine running and headlamps on that was parked in a parking lot on South Main Street, after which they stopped to investigate.

Police said that they gave the driver, Lynn Gallic, 48, of 46-A Riverside Road, some sobriety tests, after which they charged her with driving under the influence.

After posting $60 bail, police released Gallic for a May 16 court appearance.

Compact Discs

Police report that a case containing some compact discs was found on West Street. Police are holding it for safekeeping. The owner should contact Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 426-5841, to claim it.
