Wooden Spoon Carving & Decorating
WOODBURY â Al Miller, a professional woodcarver and instructor at Fletcher Farms in Ludlow, Vt., will lead a two-day workshop on wooden spoon carving and decorating at Glebe House Museum on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30. The class will teach the beginning student techniques in hand carving and incised carved decorating of usable wooden spoons, including proper use and care of tools, characteristics of wood used, and spoon designs.
Cost is $65 for members, or $75 for non-members. The workshop will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday and noon to 4 pm on Sunday. Contact the museum for reservations and additional information, 203-263-2855.
