Youth Services Tag Sale

The high school Youth Advisory Board (YAB) of Newtown Youth Services is having a tag sale on Saturday, November 13, from 9 am to 4 pm. The event will be in the Memorial Room of the Congregational Church House, 41-A Main Street.

Space may be rented for $25. Individuals may sell their own wares or donations may be dropped off at the church house on Friday, November 12, between 2:20 and 6 pm. Alternative arrangements may be made by calling Youth Services at 270-4335.

All proceeds are to benefit the annual YAB scholarship(s) given each spring to graduating seniors who live in Newtown. The application consists of an essay, artwork or creative interpretation of a question related to youth and community services. Winners are chosen based on their application and their history of active community service throughout their high school years.
