Living Nativity On Green Hill

WASHINGTON GREEN — St John’s Episcopal Church will create a Living Nativity on Saturday and Sunday, December 18 and 19, at 4 pm.

Children, women, men, and live animals will make up the manger scene from that first Christmas, bringing to life Mary, Joseph, the Christ Child, shepherds, the Wise Men, and angels, plus the animals of the manger. Luminarias will make a flickering boundary around the tableau and light the pathways, while singers will perform seasonal songs and carols.

The public is invited to one or both days. Participants and guests can warm up and enjoy hot cocoa in the Parish Hall.
