Ladies Auxiliary Hosts

Holiday Bazaar

The Southbury Volunteer Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary will host its 30th Annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 10, from 9 am to 3 pm, at the Center firehouse on Main Street South.

As in past years, the early holiday shopping event will include jewelry, quilts, wall hangings, knit and crocheted clothing, ceramics, candles, folk art, and more. The auxiliary has made a strong effort this year to solicit only craftspeople with handmade products.

Early birds can enjoy a breakfast sandwich, and lunch will be available from 10 am to 2 pm. Also of interest will be a table of home-baked goods, a raffle, and visits from Santa between 10 am and noon and from 12:30 to 2 pm. An auxiliary “elf” will take children’s photos with Santa for $3. No private photos allowed. Admission and parking are free. Proceeds benefit the fire department.
