Aldo Scudo

Aldo Scudo, 84, of 32 Benson Road, Ridgefield, husband of Lorraine (Argenti) Scudo, died on November 7, at his home.

Mr Scudo was born in New York, N.Y. February 21, 1915, a son of the late Louis and Mary (Quartero) Scudo. He attended New York schools.

An area resident since 1955, he lived in Newtown, Danbury and Ridgefield.

Mr Scudo was a retired engineer, having been employed by Exxon and based at their Brookfield location. He was also affiliated with Demetron Research of Danbury and previously to Exxon with FXR-Amphenol of Danbury.

He was active in scouting and was associated with the Mauweehoo and Schaghticoke Councils, having served as a district commissioner and district chairman as well as a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award.

He was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers as well as St Joseph Church of Danbury.

In addition to his wife of 61 years, he is survived by a son, Robert Scudo of Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Carol Delgato of Hilton Head, S.C. and Sally Scudo of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on November 10 in St Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial followed in St Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster, N.Y.

The Kane Funeral Home, 41 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, was in charge of arrangements.
