WATERBURY – Lendon Gray who has represented the United States in Dressage on many occasions, including two Olympic Games, will speak at Teikyo Post University on Friday, November 17th.

The program, “Dressage for Everyone,” will cover helpful advice for riders in this discipline. Ms. Gray will explain how and why every horse can improve with correct training.

“Basic dressage training is helpful for all horses in any type of riding – everyone can make good progress in their performance,” said Ms. Gray at a previous demonstration at TPU.

Based in Bedford, New York, Lendon Gray spends much of her time training budding dressage riders and horses, and loves to help young riders achieve high marks in competition. She has also appeared in a Pas de Deux with a western rider to show the similarity of the basic training for each type of riding.

The program, sponsored by the Equine Resources Committee to benefit scholarships for Equine Management students, begins at 7:00 PM in the Eagles Nest, Leever Student Center, on the Waterbury campus (Exit 17 off I-84).  The cost, including coffee and cookies, is $5 if tickets are purchased in advance, or $10 at the door.

For more information, please call Carole Baker at (203) 596-4631 or email CBaker@teikyopost.edu.
