Mr and Mrs Alexander N. Worley, Jr

Sarah Beth Howard and Alexander N. Worley, Jr, were married March 15 in the Avon Old Farms School Chapel, Avon, with Douglas Gregory, Justice of the Peace, officiating.

A reception following the wedding was held at Manchester Country Club, Manchester.

The bride’s parents are Guy and Carol Howard of Newtown, and the groom’s parents are Alex and Maureen Worley of Clinton.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Chelsea Ryder of Beacon Falls.

Bridesmaids were Laura Howard, sister of the bride, of Newtown; Lauren Worley, sister of the groom, of Clinton; Kara Haley of Raymond, N.H.; Heather Moriarty of Waterbury; and Lisa Hammond of Keene, N.H.

Best man was Bradley Poisson of Spring Hill, Fla.

Groomsmen were Ryan Allaire, Roger Duval Keene, and Rich Hillman, all of Keene, N.H.; and David Howard, brother of the bride, of Newtown.

Junior bridesmaid was Alison Carpenter, cousin of the bride, of Yarmouth, Maine.

The bride attended Newtown High School, graduating with the Class of 1996. She attended Keene State College and graduated in 2001. She works for the Farmington Board of Education as a school-age care teacher.

The groom attended Glastonbury High School, graduating with the Class of 1996. He also attended Keene State College, and is an HVAC specialist with A&R Mechanical.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is residing in West Hartford.
