Experience The Vegas Strip

For The Holidays, CGMC-Style

The Connecticut Gay Men’s Chorus will continue its tradition of uproarious holiday celebrations when it presents “Sin City Santas” this December in three locations around the state.

“Naturally, the CGMC Santas will deliver a sack full of traditional holiday song treats including Christmas ballads and carols,” said CGMC Artistic Director Brad Blake, “but these jolly ol’ elves have some outrageous surprises up their sleeves!

“The boys will fill us in on what really happened when Mommy was caught kissing Santa Claus. When they compose their own Christmas Wish List, don’t be surprised if it sounds more like People Magazine’s list of the Sexiest Men in America. And there’ll be a Jingle bell kick-line that the Rockettes would be afraid to attempt!”

Act II will whisk the audiences away to sunny, sinful Las Vegas for a holiday audiences won’t soon forget. CGMC’s band of holiday tourists will discover a neon-lit world of all-you-can-eat buffets and slot machines. One lucky young couple will even find themselves getting hitched in the Elvis Chapel of Love.

And then there are those Vegas floor shows.

“You won’t believe what can happen when the boys of the CGMC are let loose in the company of Cirque de SoGeil, and they’ll meet a pair of animal tamers that make Siegfried and Roy look like ex-Marines,” Mr Blake continued. “But nothing will top the curvaceous and sultry show-‘girls’ that grace the CGMC Vegas floor shows. You’ll be dizzy as a spinning Roulette Wheel before the CGMC finishes this Sin City holiday!”

“Sin City Santas” will be performed on Saturday, December 5, at 8 pm, at The Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield; Saturday, December 12, at 8 pm, at The Shubert Theater in New Haven; and Sunday, December 13, at 7 pm, at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford.

Tickets, at $35 and $30, can be reserved by calling the CGMC Box Office at 1-800-644-2462 or online at www.CtGMC.org.
