Holiday Program On Saturday

Ashlar of Newtown will be presenting “Getting Ready for the Holidays” on Saturday, November 17, at the Newtown Middle School at 2:30 pm. This show, in its 15th year, is a community-wide event. The show features performances by the young and the old.

The highlight of the show is a performance by the intergenerational bell choir groups of Ashlar of Newtown and the Congregational Church of New Fairfield.

Other entertainers include the Larnel School of Dance, Sphinx Temple Chanters and Musicals at Richter. Admission for the show is free but Ashlar encourages those attending to bring an unwrapped toy that will be distributed to local charities.
