NEW FAIRFIELD — On Monday, May 16, Candlewood League of Artists will host a free landscape demonstration in pastel by the award winning artist Joel Spector.

A professional illustrator from New Milford, Mr Spector is known for his elegant pastel images. His work has been features in Artist’s Magazine, Pastels International, Best of Pastels and many international magazines.

The demonstration is open to the public, and will take place from 7 to 8:30 pm at New Fairfield Library, on Route 39, just west of the junction with Route 37 in the center of town.
