Genealogy Podcast And Blogs

The next meeting of Newtown Genealogy Club will be on Wednesday, October 10, at 7 pm, at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street in Newtown.

This month’s meeting will offer something new: a podcast prepared by nationally known speaker Lisa Louise Cook. The subject will be “Genealogy Podcast and Blogs.” Using a Podcast will enable attendees us to hear speakers who are too far distant to travel to Newtown for genealogy club programs, and should be an interesting first-time event for all who attend.

There will be a question and answer period both during and after the podcast.

Refreshments will be served, and guests are welcome. There is no admission fee for guests.

Newtown Genealogy Club meets the second Wednesday of the month, September through June. Those who decide to join are asked to pay $20 annual dues for individual membership, $30 for a family membership.
