The Mail Gets Through

To the Editor:

Kudos to our little country post office. My husband and I have lived in Newtown one year this week.

Today, he received a birthday card addressed to: Jim (Maggi’s honey), 113 Orahard Hill Rd, Newton, CT  06470.

Though everything was wrong except for the state and zipcode, the card was delivered without a hitch (as proven by the date it was sent). We thank our mail deliverer and other caring and attentive post workers who did such a great job at making us feel like they know we are here!
