Jean Giannettino

Jean (Klose) Giannettino, 72, of Milford, died March 20. Mrs Giannettino was born in Bridgeport on May 17, 1930, to the late Herman A. and Maria R. Stephen Klose and was a lifelong Milford resident.

Survivors include a daughter, Jill G. Chop and her husband, Michael, of Newtown; three sons, Peter M. Giannettino and his wife, Linda, Paul M. Giannettino, and Carl H. Giannettino, all of Milford; her former husband, Peter L. Giannettino of Stratford; five grandchildren, Amber Bishop and her husband, Mark, Anthony Giannettino, Dakota, Katie, and Marina Callahan, all of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a retired Milford business owner and a former member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce. Mrs Giannettino was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport where she was a member of a sorority. She was a member of the Norwalk Aquarium Society and a member of Long Island Sound Association.

The funeral was held on March 24 in St Ann Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Mary Cemetery, Milford.

The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, was in charge of arrangements.
