Susan P. Spiller

Susan P. (Hawley) Spiller, 50, wife of Gary E. Spiller, Sr, of Bedias, Tex., died May 30 in Bedias.

Mrs Spiller was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., August 31, 1952, a daughter of the late Edgar and Ethel (Raymond) Hawley. She was raised in Newtown and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1970. She formerly lived in Oklahoma.

In addition to her husband of 32 years, Mrs Spiller is survived by two sons, Gary E. Spiller, Jr, and his wife, Mary, of Bedias, Tex., Jason Spiller and his wife, Carole, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Cheryl Spiller of Bedias; three sisters, Barbara Bradley and her husband, Jerrod, of Newtown, Carol Mitchell and her husband, Floyd, of Southbury, and Jane Eckert and her husband, Les, of Newtown; a brother, Christopher Raymond and his wife, Gail, of Pittsfield, Mass.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown at 10 am on Thursday, June 12. Interment will be in Newtown Village Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 11, from 5 to 8 pm.
