To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Chris LaRocque, the Republican candidate for the Legislative Council in District 2. Chris is very committed and passionate about Newtown. Chris recognizes the importance of giving back and being involved in the community. It is not often our young people return to Newtown after their college experience. Chris has done so because he truly believes in and cares about Newtown, and wants to make it a better place for us all.

He has the energy and enthusiasm needed to represent our needs and interests as we move forward during these difficult times. We need Chris’s leadership skills and perspective to bring new ideas to the table. I can speak directly to his character and work ethic; Chris is a winner, who cares and will work very hard on behalf of all the people of Newtown.

Chris has always been about “giving back,” which is really what we need in our elected officials! His youthful exuberance and excitement about Newtown will bring a positive change for us all. Join me in support of Chris LaRocque; give him the opportunity to make a difference for our families, our schools, and the entire Newtown community.
