Anthony and Rouxle Gioffre of 13 Susan Lane, Newtown, announce the birth of a daughter, Kaia Ryan Gioffre, July 18 at Danbury Hospital.

Daniel and Kristine Cotton of Quarry Ridge Road, Sandy Hook, announce the birth of a son, Steven Daniel Cotton, July 14 at Danbury Hospital. He joins his brothers Thomas, age 4, and Michael, age 1.

Steven Daniel weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Don and June Tompkins of Montrose, N.Y., and paternal grandparents are Dan and Linda Cotton of Old Lyme.

Great-grandparents are Dan and Josephine Cotton of Fort Myers, Fla.
