Brian Danzinger, a student at Newtown High School, will be attending the prestigious National Youth Leadership Forum on Technology from July 27 through August 5 in San Jose, Calif. Brian will be joining 1,500 high school students from across the nation, engaging in both group and independent projects, including workshops led by industry insiders, product demonstrations, campus visits, and more. The forumâs curriculum will also incorporate sure-to-be-lively debate and discussion among peers.
âIn their young years, many bright individuals like Brian Danzinger have already become a dynamic part of the industry, writing software, building systems networks, managing web hosting companies, and developing the next generation of cutting-edge technology,â said Donna Snyder, executive director of the Forum. Featured among the esteemed guest speakers are Dr Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel Corporation, and Dr Vance D Coffman, chairman and CEO of the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Students will have the opportunity to visit a number of Silicon Valleyâs technology companies, including Cisco Systems, Incorporated, Hewlett Packard Labs and Silicon Graphics, Incorporated. In addition, officials from San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, Stanford University, University of California Berkeley, and the University of California Santa Cruz will be on hand to provide an educational background for aspiring engineers and executives.
