Coding Career Open House

BRIDGEPORT — St Vincent’s College will be hosting an informational session on careers in hospital coding on Monday, June 2, at 6 pm, at the college.

The new certificate program at St Vincent’s is a nine-month course that begins in September and ends in June. Students learn medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, insurance claims, nomenclature and classification systems used in health record coding, a total of 15 college credits. The program is offered two evenings per week.

Contact the college at 800-873-1013 to reserve a seat. The college is at 2800 Main Street. Attendees may park at no charge in the Hunting Street garage across the street from the college upon validation of ticket.
