Thanks To The Teachers
To the Editor:
As the school year starts up again, I wanted to say thank you to a couple of teachers that helped get me, and my then-ninth grader, through our first year at the high school.
A special thanks to Rory Perry. He went over and above the call of duty to offer extra help throughout the year (whether my son wanted it or not)! He really wants to help each of his students achieve success and definitely believes in the school statement that âno student will be left behindâ...especially if he can help it! Thanks Rory!
Martin Swanhall, another very helpful teacher at the high school, deserves a special thanks. He has a fabulous web page that he administers, that shows all the assignment schedules and due dates...so helpful! He is also great at returning emails! Thanks Martin!
Ken Royal, is another teacher that keeps parents âin the knowâ with his fabulous website for the Reed 5/6 school. Neither of my kids had him for a teacher, but kudos to him for his award-wining website! The information there is great for kids and parents! Thanks Ken!
With all of our busy schedules, kids growing up faster, and thinking they know it all...it is so helpful to me, as a parent, to have teachers that will actually call or email me...with the good stuff as well as the not so good stuff!!
A big thank you to all the teachers...please keep up your hard work!
