Grant For Scholarships

FAIRFIELD — The William T. Morris Foundation recently awarded Fairfield University $100,000 in financial aid. The scholarship provides assistance for students based on academic merit and financial need.

Noel Appel, director of foundation relations, said the Foundation has been a good friend and longtime supporter of Fairfield University, with its gifts to the school dating back to the 1960’s. “It is this kind of continuous and loyal support that has made it possible for Fairfield University to provide a first-rate education to so many very bright, talented and deserving young people,” she said.

The William T. Morris Foundation, located in New York City, supports charitable, scientific and educational institutions.
