Food Drive At Fleet Bank
During the week of September 29 to October 4, Fleet Bank in Newtown will be sponsoring a food drive. The public is invited to stop in during regular business hours ââ 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm on Friday, and 9 am to noon on Saturday ââ to drop off nonperishable donations, which will be divided between FAITH Food Pantry and The Salvation Army Food Pantry.
The food drive is open to anyone who would like to donate. Noncustomers are welcome to stop in the bankâs lobby to drop off donations.
Suggestions for donations include toiletries, cleaning products, canned goods, pasta, peanut butter and/or jelly, cereal, etc.
