Vacancies On Town Boards

The Newtown Democratic Town Commission this week announced that there currently are several vacancies on town boards and commissions for which they are seeking candidates.

Openings are available on the Economic Development Commission, the Lake Lillinonah Authority, the Water Pollution Control Authority, and an alternate seat on the Commission on Aging.

Vacancies are open to all registered Democrats residing in the town of Newtown. Anyone who is interested in serving should contact Earl Smith, DTC chairman, at 426-6360.
