Due to anticipated snow, a scheduling change was made for the South-West Conference girls’ basketball playoffs after the sports section of The Newtown Bee went to press this week.

In the two articles covering the Nighthawks on page B-1, the original game time of 7 pm is listed for the Saturday, February 21, quarterfinal contest between host Newtown High School and Immaculate of Danbury. The new start time is 3 pm.

Newtown’s game will be preceded by a 1 pm contest between Notre Dame-Fairfield and Joel Barlow of Redding, originally slated for 5 pm. Both games are at Newtown High School.

Mali Klorczyk dribbles the ball during Newtown's 62-54 overtime win over Pomperaug on February 17. Newtown will begin conference playoff action at home on Saturday, February 21. The team's quarterfinal-round game against Immaculate, originally scheduled for 7 pm, has been changed to 3 pm.
