Gilda Coveney

Gilda Coveney, 79, of Farview Avenue, Danbury, wife of the late Joseph Coveney, died at Ashlar of Newtown on November 5.

Gilda was born in Everett, Mass., June 21, 1924, daughter of the late Atilio and Domenica (Fallovolitta) Antonucci. She attended Everett schools and was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by a son, Wayne Pearson of Billerica, Mass.; a daughter, Gail Pearson of Everett, Mass.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, Ronald Pearson, and daughter, Jacqueline Noonan.

Funeral services will be private.

Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
