Learning Disabilities Expert To Speak On Friendship Skills

NORWALK — Rick Lavoie, internationally acclaimed learning disabilities expert, author, and lecturer will be speaking on friendship skills from 9 am to noon on Saturday, December 6, at the Norwalk Inn, 99 East Avenue.

Mr Lavoie, a special education teacher and administrator of residential programs for children with special needs, will outline the development of childhood friendships. Included will be specific strategies designed to enhance children’s friendship skills.

The event is sponsored by the Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities (CACLD) and SPED*NET, Special Education Network of Wilton, Ltd.
