Pategas Appointed To Quinnipiac Post

HAMDEN –– Dianna L. Pategas of Newtown has been appointed major gifts officer at Quinnipiac University.

In her new position, Ms Pategas will be responsible for cultivating relationships with individuals and organizations interested in supporting the university’s academic and athletic initiatives.

“Major gift donors want to invest in winners, and Quinnipiac University is definitely a winner, thanks to its excellent educational mission and dynamic leadership,” Ms Pategas said. “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to serve here and look forward to contributing to the school’s growing success.”

 Before coming to Quinnipiac, Ms Pategas worked as a major gifts officer at St Bonaventure University. From 1992 to 2001, she served in a variety of development positions at Whitworth College, Spokane, Wash. Ms Pategas holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Whitworth.

Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston.
