Rally Behind A Good Cause

To the Editor:

In January, Prudential Connecticut Realty became an official “drop off” location for the FAITH (Food Assistance Immediate Temporary Help) Food Pantry. The FAITH Food Pantry is a worthwhile organization run by very giving and hardworking volunteers. The FAITH food pantry distributes food and toiletries to individuals in need in the Newtown area.

We are lucky to live in a town with such giving people and organizations. You may not automatically pair up FAITH Food Pantry with a real estate company, but Prudential Connecticut Realty Cares is committed to giving back to the community. We have also found out the Newtown community rallies behind a good cause. The response has been tremendous due to the generosity of the great people who live and work in Newtown.

Thank you to everyone who has donated! We will continue to collect nonperishable food items and toiletries through March 31. If you would like to drop items off, please do so at our office location, 33 Church Hill Road. We are open for business and donations everyday from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Keep up the great work Newtown!
