Fresh Donuts

The donut drive-through hosted by St John’s Episcopal Church in Sandy Hook returns this weekend.

Church members will be cooking fresh donuts and beignets and brewing gourmet coffee at the church, which is on Washington Avenue in Sandy Hook, from 9 am until 2 pm, or until the donuts are sold out.

The popular event is presented on the first Saturday of the month, May through August.

The church regularly sell nearly 1,000 donuts and beignets each month, and all money goes to the church’s charitable programs.
