A Day With Dad Is The Sweetest Thing

The tykes at Wesley Learning Center recently enjoyed “Donuts with Dad Day,” bonding with their fathers over heaping plates of the glazed and powdered treats. The children had the opportunity to share the various skills they have been acquiring at Wesley, including solving puzzles, reading books, and building towers and other architectural wonders.

The students also sang several songs, including one number, “I Love You, Daddy,” sung to the tune of “Old MacDonald.” At the end of the day, the children presented their fathers with classroom-grown baby bean plants.  All had a very sweet time!
