Colonial Group Meets May 6

WOODBURY — The Connecticut State Society of the Daughters of American Colonists will hold its spring meeting at noon on Thursday, May 6, at Connecticut’s oldest inn, the Curtis House, 506 Main Street South.

All members and those women who have ancestors that lived in the United States prior to July 4, 1776, are invited to attend. There will be a social hour so that newcomers and members can get acquainted.

The honored guest will be Mrs Harlow S. Pond, the vice president of the Atlantic Coast section of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Colonists. Luncheon will be served. Reservations are required by calling 203-778-6826.
