Ann Lee  Thiessen

Ann Lee Thiessen, 57, of Newtown, died May 21 at the Bethel Healthcare Center. Mrs Thiessen was the wife of William F. Thiessen.

She was born in Danbury on December 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Reuben J. and Ethel (Barrett) Cole, Jr. Ann Lee was a graduate of Danbury High School and the University of Bridgeport. A former secretary with the Perkin-Elmer Corporation and several local law firms, she became actively involved as a real estate agent in her later years. She was an associate of the Re/Max All Horizons Agency prior to her illness.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Keith D. Thiessen of Newtown; two brothers and their wives, David R. Cole of Brookfield and Donald R. Cole of Newtown; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were held May 24 in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, with the Rev Carie Stanley officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.
