Old Ladies 4, The Stallions 2 â Jen Brill, Erica Woloszynski, Gina Bonacci and Gina Pisacreta scored goals to lead the Old Ladies to the win Hannah Deflumeri provided an assist. For the Stallions, Nicki Haylon and Mary Kate George scored goals as Alana Gilbert and Jackie George played well.
Boys C/D
Lasers 6, Jaguars 4 â Paul Andras, Dana VanBuskirk, Chris Boch, Matt Baier powered the offense to lead the Lasers to the win. Timmy Lacouture, Daniel Kowarick, Evan Batzer and Brian Grimes each scored a goal for the Jaguars.

Blaze 2, Sliver Hawks 1 (OT) â Danny White scored a goal in regulation as the Blaze won in an overtime shootout. Jimmy Russo had a great game in the goal, Walker Mansfield anchored the defense, and Alec Ravana led the offense. For the Hawks, Peter Kerns scored the lone goal while Stephen Ibanez anchored the defense. Francis Afriyie and Robbie Beier led the offense.
Three-day tournament
Silver Hawks 2, Terminators 1 â Stephen Ibanez and Robbie Beier scored for the Silver Hawks as Thomas Johnston and Abhinav Tyagarajan played well in the midfield. Chris Miller was strong on defense. For the Terminators Luke Shearin scored while both Patrick Zingaro and Jimmy Mooney played well in offense. George Delia was strong in goal.
Nucleus 2, Blaze 0 â Greg Campbell and John Imbimbo scored one goal each to lead the Nucleus to the win. Jake Tolson had a great game in goal while Andrew Bonvini played well in midfield. For the Blaze, Vinny Brophy was solid on defense as Patrick Ricardi, Andy Hsu and Andy Kelly led the midfield.
Kings 2, Silver Hawks 0 â Goals by James Radcliffe and Thomas Capozziello, strong midfield play by Christopher Erikson, and excellent all around play by Nick Gerbo led the Kings to the win. Providing good, strong games for the Silver Hawks were Brian Kruger at midfield, Francis Afriyie on offense, and Brandon Body and Robbie Beier in goal.
Silver Hawks 1, Supersonics 0 â Peter Kerns scored the goal off an assist by Kevin Dennis to lead the Hawks to the win. Kevin Dill was strong in midfield while Stephen Ibanez played powerful defense. For the Sonics , Nathan Norwich led the comeback effort as midfielder. Ryan LeMay hustled on the wing as Thomas Bernath and Sean Fahey both had strong games on defense.
Supersonics 1, Tigersharks 0 â Pieter Martino scored the lone goal to lead the Sonics to the win. Collin Gage, Marcus Toms and Tyler Hanna played well. For the âSharks, Weston Tardie led the offense while Tarren Horvath led a very tough defense. Matt Datin and Ivan Hutchison both played great all-around games.
Nucleus 2, Vipers 1 (OT) â John Imbimbo scored a goal to lead the Nucleus past the Vipers in an overtime shootout. David Tortora and Russel Morgan played well. Or the Vipers, Chris Arnone scored a goal as Ben Stoller, Ryan Higham and Chris McGowan played well on D.
Nucleus 3, Supersonics 2 (OT) â John Imbimbo and Greg Campbell scored one goal apiece to lead the Nucleus to the overtime win. Matt Ryan and Ian Hripack were solid on D. For the âSonics, Mike Carrafiello scored one goal and assisted on another. Collin Gage, Max Eckert and Luke Piazza played well.
Kings 3, Nucleus 0 â Thomas Capoziello scored two goals and Connor Quinn added one to lead the Kings to the win. Thomas Murphy and Keegan Lombard played well. For the Nucleus, Jake Tolson and Jack Curry were solid in goal while Tommy Stewart, Nick Pedalino and Andrew Bonvini had solid performances.
Kings 2, Nucleus 1 (OT) â Goals by Christian Sayegh and Christopher Erikson and strong goalkeeping by Thomas Capozziello provided the championship win for the Kings in an overtime shootout. Tim Bock led a strong defensive effort. For the Nucleus, Tommy Stewart had a goal in the shootout while David Tortora on defense, Nick Pedalino at midfield, and Russell Morgan on offense all had excellent games during regulation play.
Girls E
Hawks 2, Funky Monkeys 0 â Isabel Gleason and Kelsey Karp each had a goal to lead the Hawks to the win. Emma Iannini and Zoe Eggelston had good games. For the Monkeys, Michaela MaGuire and Emily Dion had strong defensive plays as Jamie Keating and Jenny Gumbrecht played well.
Hawks 2, Terminators 1 (OT) â Katie Shirley scored in regulation to help lead the Hawks to an E Division championship win over the Terminators. Jenny Van Veen and Celeste Cheung notching penalty kicks in the overtime shootout to lift the Hawks. During a 4-0 run in the division tournament, Isabel Gleason, Emma Iannini, Alyse Brautigam, Kelsey Karp, Jillian Thompson, Zoe Eggleston, Elena Rose Unschuld, Lila Kohrman-Glaser and Alex Klein all played well. In the final for the Terminators, Andrea Nazer played great in goal while Oliva Rowley, Keri Chernoff, Rachel Gregoire, Justina Proposki, Deanna Tassinari, Cassie Fallon, Christine Arnold, Emily Teri and Morgan Kirol all had fine performances.
Girls F
Firebolts 3, Cheetah Champs 2 â Anna Northrop scored three goals to lead the Firebolts to the win. Serena Kiss and Claire Miles were great on defense as Sarah Rose Hasselberg was solid in goal. Tami Corsi and Haylee Dunn scored for the Cheetah Champs as Abigail Kuligowski had an assist and Anne Berning played great.
Shooting Stars 3, Wildcats 0 â Sarah Reed scored a pair of goals to lead the Stars to the win. Maddy Good had an assist, Brittany Heck played well on defense, and Claire Alexander played well in goal. For the âCats, Paige Kroha and Emily Davis had some solid saves in goal while Julia DiLuoffa and Angela Halili played well.
Cheetahs 3, Shockers 0 â Jillianna Ciammara, Kristen DeGirolamo and Tressa Scott scored to lift the Cheetahs to the win. Gabrielle DeBartolomeo and Amanda Crowell played well. For the Shockers, Emily Papp and Emily Suitek played well on offense as Ellen Gordon and Elizabeth Helmig anchored the D.
Tornadoes 4, Nighthawks 0 â Carrie Scallon (2), Caroline Kingsley, and Rachel Weiberg scored to lead the Tornadoes to the win. Katie McManus played well in net. For the âHawks, Courtney Campbell, Trisha Sullivan, and Sydney Hutchison all play well in offense. Sally Martinelli did her best in goal after her injury.
Huskies 3, Cheetah Champs 2 â Brittany Tolla and Melissa Buccino scored to lead the Huskies to the win. Rachel Karnoff and Caitlin Yakush anchored the D. Lyndsey Pearlman and Karlie Kuligowski each scored a goal for the Cheetah Champions on assists from Abigail Kuligowski and Julie Perch. Aileen Sheluck did a great job on defense.
Boys F
Lightning Bolts 2, White Lightning 1 â Connor Gallagher and Danny Bittman scored one goal apiece to lead the Bolts. Wesley Morlock and Jonathon Schartz had strong games on offense. For the White Lightning, Miles Dobbrow scored as Danny Cummings had a strong game in goal, Knute Johnson led the midfield, and Nicholas Klein led the offense.
Raging Rams 3, Monsters 1 â James Marusi scored three times to lead the Raging Rams. Matthew Wood and Matt Rosa also had outstanding games. For the Monsters, Gabe Keogler scored as Matt Janco and Thomas Meier turned in solid defensive play. Scott Kelly played well on offense.
Monsters 4, Bombers 3 â Francis Saraceni scored two goals while Jared Wray and Michael Senf scored one apiece to lead the Monsters. For the Bombers, Matthew Villaman, Doug Miller and Tyler Reufenaucht scored.
Metrostars 4, Rockets 0 â Josh Villa, Stephen Walsh, Michael Schartenberg, and Charlie Helgren each scored one goal to lead the Metrostars. For the Rockets, Tim Eames and Christian Barrett played well offensively while Phil Healy and Cameron Weibel had strong defensive games.
Bombers 5, Thunderbolts 2 â Tyler Ruefenaucht scored three goals to lead the Bombers to the win. Taylor Rudder and Matt Villamana also scored as Doug Miller provided an assist. For the âBolts, Fredrik Dean and Patrick Milano scored while David Csordas and Henry Summ played well.
Tornadoes 2, Wolverines 1 â Colin Moller and Yossi Kohrman-Glaser scored to lead the Tornadoes to the win. Matt Baldino played well. For the Wolverins, Adam Oelberg powered the defense along with Charlie Poarch and Ricky Fuentes.
Girls U10
Power 8, Wolcott 0 â Molly Mahony, Leah Barrett and Allie Fuentes scored two goals apiece to lead the Power to the win. Allie Korchman and Meghan Carney also scored. Virginia Trombini had an assist.
Girls U12
Rampage 2, Brookfield 1 â Laura Bittman and Monica Warek scored the goals that lifted the Rampage to the win. Jennifer Daily, Berenice Bryant and Ally Modzelewski played well on defense while Hannah Basch-Gould recorded an assist. Caleigh Boyle and Laetitia de Brantes played well in the midfield.
Danbury 2, Rampage 1 â Laura Bittman scored the lone Newtown goal off an assist from Taylor Smith in a loss to the Danbury U13 squad. Katie Pessin registered 13 saves in goal as Kirsten Hudock and Sara Kelley played well at midfield. Susan Mason and Kristen Tanner played well up front. Jennifer Daily and Jordyn Good anchored the defense.
Girls U14
Avon 6, Navigators 0 (State Cup) â Ashley Braun and Katie Power worked hard in the goal as the âGators lost to Avon in the third round of the State Cup. Alana Bilangi, Eva Cerreta, Emily Lockhart and Genna Scheuerell all played well in the midfield.
Navigators 4, Woodbury 0 â A perfect shot from Jacqui Kirol off a cross by Harriet Morgan started the scoring for the Gators. Marina Virgalla added the second and two more from Harriet Morgan sealed the victory. Katie Power and the Gators defense recorded the shut out. Katie Kirrane and Lauren Hebert played well.
