National Cancer Survivor Day Breakfast

DANBURY — The American Cancer Society, Ann’s Place, and the Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital are inviting all local cancer survivors and their families to the seventh annual National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration on Sunday, June 6 from 9 to 11 am at the Sheraton Danbury Hotel.

Registration opens at 8:30 am. A full breakfast will be served.

The event will feature Dr Robert Cooper, an oncologist at Danbury Hospital, as well as inspirational stories of survivorship from local cancer survivors. Also enjoy the musical talents of Molly Gilmore, a sophomore at the University of Connecticut at Storrs; Fawn Segerson, a freshman at Holy Cross; and Andrew Wheelock, a senior at Brookfield High School.

The Sheraton Danbury Hotel is at 18 Old Ridgebury Road. Seating is limited for this free event. Registration is required. To register, call Ann’s Place at 790-6568.
