Into Condo

Police report that motorist Aleacia A. Siok, 83, of 7 St George Place, Walnut Tree Village, drove a new 2004 Toyota Camry sedan into her garage at the condominium complex at about 3:30 pm May 29, and then apparently inadvertently accelerated, causing the front end of the sedan to burst through the garage’s rear wall and enter Ms Siok’s condo’s kitchen, damaging the kitchen and its contents.

Sandy Hook firefighters went to the scene, where they made some basic repairs to the structure.

Police said that Siok was transported to Danbury Hospital as a precaution and to be checked in the event that she was injured in the mishap.

The accident occurred on private property; police took no enforcement.
