Christopher G. Farrington graduated from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Penn., on May 30 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Brea Passero and Keenan Golder were recently Dean’s List honors from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain for the spring semester.

Amanda Buchholz and Jennie Nowacki of Sandy Hook, Katrina Buyers, Matthew Colin Jordan, Janine Maura Pixley, and Megan Ann Lynch received Dean’s List honors from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.

Judith Beers, William Boyd, Lorinda Larson and Jennie Nowacki of Sandy Hook and Erica Hanson, Amy Hoadley, Eric Richer, and Frances Pacheco recently graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.

Katherine G. Danzinger received high honors and Daniel G. Agius and Benjamin L. Greenfield received honors from the Gunnery Day and Boarding School in Washington.

Jennifer Marie Piccolo graduated from Endicott College in Beverly, Mass., with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training during the commencement ceremony May 16.

Katherine K. Hoeffel received the BAC degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., on June 3. Katherine majored in politics with a concentration in poverty studies. While a student at Washington and Lee, Katherine was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, the Nabors Service League, and played both varsity field hockey and lacrosse.

Jonathan P. Larsen, son of Marie and Paul Larsen, recently participate in the US Naval Academy’s weeklong summer seminar program in Annapolis, Md. Jonathan was introduced to academy life through a regimen of academics, physical training, intramural sports, sailing and seamanship, as well as leadership training and social activities.

Monica Cluff, a nursing major at Fairfield University, received Dean’s List honors for the spring 2004 semester. Monica, a member of the Fairfield University Equestrian Team, won the regional finals and also placed first in the national Tournament of Champions. She also won placed fourth in zone finals and was named the team’s Rookie of the Year.

Erika Toi, son of Paula and the late John Toi, recently graduated from Fairfield University with a bachelor of science in marketing. She also was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Daniel Maxwell, son of Tom and Nancy Maxwell, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2004 semester at the University of Connecticut. Daniel will be entering his junior year this fall as an English major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Stephanie Rondinone received a master of education degree from Saint Joseph College in West Hartford on May 23.

Chari Bird and Cassandra Lukeris of Sandy Hook graduated from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I., during commencement exercises on May 23.

Matthew E. Garbarino and Jennifer A. Murphy were named to Colby College’s Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Sammi Gureasko-Moore of Sandy Hook graduated with a doctoral degree in school psychology from Lehigh University in Lehigh, Penn., on May 24. Renowned author Kurt Vonnegut delivered the commencement address.

Lauren E. Bonacci, Jennifer S. Haghpanah, and Gregory D. Williams received Dean’s List honors for the spring semester from Quinnipiac University in Hamden.

Matthew Klaus received Dean’s List honors for the spring semester at American University in Washington, D.C.

Sean Hughes of Sandy Hook and Monica Alpert graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden during a commencement ceremony on May 16.

Kari Lynn Fisher, daughter of Robert and Bonnie Fisher of Stonehurst Way, Tallahassee (formerly of Newtown), graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, during a commencement ceremony on May 16.

Alyssa McIntyre was among the recipients of the Congressional Award Gold Medal, recognizing youth for outstanding community service.

Alexandra Gellert was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.
