Retreat Planned For

‘Dreams And Dreamers’

LITCHFIELD — A retreat day entitled “Dreams and Dreamers” will take place at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center on Saturday, September 29, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The presenter, Reverend Carolyn Fleming-Sawyerr, will examine the significance of dreams in the Bible and how they were as messages of protection and guidance. Some examples that will be used are Pilate’s wife’s dream of Jesus’ innocence; Jacob’s dream of a ladder and Ezekiel’s dream of  the wheel. Participants will look at their own dreams as an aid to their own spiritual growth.

Rev Sawyerr is director of training for the pastoral services department of Hartford Hospital. She is an ordained American Baptist minister, and a graduate of Yale University Divinity School and Seton Hall University Law School.
