Barn Star Productions, now in its eleventh year of business, has seven annual events on its calendar, and hardly one show goes by where collectors and dealers don’t comment, “Frank, we’re looking forward to Mid*Week.” That acknowledgement, for me, compliments not only the job we are doing as producers of the show, but more so the incredible job done by our 110 hardworking and esteemed dealers. Though Mid*Week experiences the least number of dealer turnover, this year some very significant names have been added, providing diversity, freshness and price options for our loyal Mid*Week customers.

But before I introduce our new dealer additions I would like to extend a personal and heartfelt Thank You to George Allen and Gordon Wykoff, better known as Raccoon Creek Antiques, for the many years of loyalty, excellent displays and consummate professionalism as Barn Star dealers. Though taking a short break from show participation to work on their new shop/home complex in Oley, Penn., they are still out there buying exceptional Americana and folk art for their grand opening to be announced soon. We wish them the best of luck in this new endeavor and will always have a space for them at Barn Star events.

We are equally delighted to introduce the following dealers as part of our August 2004 Mid*Week roster, and I am sure their names and reputations will add immeasurably to our event. Ken Arthur of Spotted Horse Antiques, Windsor, Vt.; Patricia Anne Reed Fine Antiques, Damariscotta, Maine; American Garage, Los Angeles; Eve Stone Antiques, Woodbridge, Conn.; Gary Promey Antiques, Atwater, Ohio; Sumpter Priddy III, Inc, Alexandria, Va.; and Steve Smoot Antiques, Lancaster, Penn.

In addition we will be welcoming a new show shipper for 2004, HTR Moving & Delivery Services, LLC from Stamford, Conn.

Enjoy this preview to our Mid*Week Antiques Show and find more information and profiles in this special show section.

The entire Barn Star staff and I are looking forward to welcoming you on August 11 & 12 at The Wayfarer Inn.

                     Sincerely,

                Frank Gaglio
