Christopher & Sarah Storms

Sarah Ann Skuchas and Christopher Scott Storms were married by the Reverend Robert Schmidt on September 17, 2011, at Wayne Methodist Church in Wayne, Penn. A reception followed at Montrose Mansion in Radnor, Penn.

The bride, a daughter of Carla and Edward Skuchas of Audubon, Penn., was given into marriage by her father.

For her wedding day Sarah had selected an ivory silk taffeta gown from Priscilla of Boston’s Vineyard Collection. It was a fit and flare design, with a draped bodice. She also wore her mother’s veil.

Her matrons of honor were Katie Grist of Marietta, Ga., and Hollee Old, from Blacksburg, Va. They wore Melissa Sweet silk charmeuse short halter dresses, fig colored, with small flowers along the necklines and soft flowing skirts.

Bridesmaids were Alicia Amburn of Jersey City, N.J.; Jamie Bankhead, New York City; and Eva Tolk, also of New York City. Their dresses matched those of the matrons of honor.

The groom’s goddaughter, Saville LeGette, from Memphis, was the flower girl.

Mike Storms of Jersey City and Dan Storms of New York City shared the honors of best man. Ushers were Chris Legette of Memphis, Tenn.; Shade Vaughn of Austin, Texas; and Ted Skuchas of Audubon, Penn.

Christopher is the son of Joan and Gary Storms of Sandy Hook.

Sarah is a graduate of James Madison University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She is a product development manager for Ralph Lauren.

Christopher is a graduate of Trinity University, where he was a member of Omega Phi Fraternity. He is a project manager in the McKinsey Investment Office of McKinsey & Co.

The couple exited their reception under a canopy for sparklers, headed for a honeymoon in Kauai and Hawaii. They have returned to their home in New York City.
