BANTAMS

 

NEW FAIRFIELD 9, NEWTOWN 1: Newtown played with only nine players and still played a tough defensive game. Evan Neugold scored the lone Newtown goal while Kevin Canavan was strong on attack, midfield and defense.

RIDGEFIELD 4, NEWTOWN 3: Alex Hamilton, Christian Beitel and Evan Neugold scored the goals and Ian White made seven saves in the cage, but Newtown fell. Zach Flemming, Steve Dooling, and Connor Collier were strong at the midfield while Blake Bell, Ben D’Agostino, Sam McCord, Tim Wheeler, and Spencer Schnell had good defensive games.

JUNIORS

 

FAIRFIELD 6, HORNETS 2: Eric Dinnan and Matt Bartow scored  for the Hornets with Drew Taylor and George Schork on the assists. Brett Berman and Matt Hill combined for ten ground balls while Eric Palmer had five. Defensively Ethan Breitling, Tyler Lyon and Steven Orico anchored the Hornets. David Lewis stood in goal and collected nine saves.

REDDING 5, HORNETS 1: Greg Hill scored for the Hornets with Bobby Attanasio on the assist. Alek Glasrud and  Joe Pisacreta lead the Hornets with four ground balls a piece. Defensively Max Hoagland, Drew Taylor and Scott Regnery stood out for the Hornets. In goal Greg Hill and Dave Lewis combined for twelve saves.

WILTON 6, HORNETS 1: Max Sackerson scored the lone goal for the Hornets with Tim Lynch assisting. George Schork and Drew Kuchta lead with seven ground balls apiece while Kyle Shevlin scooped up five. Mike Conroy and Dave Lewis stood out defensively for the Hornets with Lewis making fourteen saves on the day.
