*Stamford Center for the Arts will present the Palace Theatre debut of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers – INDIGO GIRLS – with special guest Girlyman, on Friday, November 5, at 8 pm.

Tickets are still available and are priced at $27 and $40, with $2 of each ticket purchase going towards the theater’s restoration project. Tickets may be purchased by phone with major credit cards by visiting TeleCharge at 800-233-3123, online at www.telecharge.com, or from SCA’s website, www.OnlyAtSCA.com.

Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Palace Theatre box office, 61 Atlantic Street in downtown Stamford. The box office is open weekdays from noon to 5 pm, and on performance Saturdays and Sundays from two hours prior to curtain.

*Speaking of next week, THE HOT BUTTERED RUM STRING BAND will be pulling into Bridgeport in their vegetable oil-powered bus on Thursday for a show at The Acoustic Café. Tickets are just $8 for the 8 pm show; call 203-335-3655 for last-minute reservations.

*Tickets are going on sale this weekend for a December 10 stop by CLAY AIKEN’s Joyful Noise Tour. Aiken and his orchestra will be performing at the careerbuilder.com Oakdale in Wallingford.

Tickets will be priced at $38, $48 and $58, and will be available Saturday beginning at 10 am through the Oakdale’s box office and any tickets.com vendor.

*Coinciding with the release of his first studio album in five years, KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD will be on the road this fall, and the tour includes a stop at The Webster Theater in Hartford on November 23. Tickets for the all-ages show are $25.
