Newtown Lions Club will host an American Red Cross blood drive at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, on Monday, January 13.

The event will run from 8:30 am until 6:15 pm. Donors should be at least 18 years of age, weight at least 110 pounds, and be in generally good health.

Walk-ins will be welcomed, and appointments are available by calling 800-RED-CROSS (800-733-2767) or online at RedCrossBlood.org.

As an incentive, the Red Cross will offer a voucher for a free pound of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee to blood donors all month.
