‘Unity In Diversity’

Upcoming Programs

Corpus Christi Faith Community will present Unity In Diversity with host Rev Leo McIlrath and special guests on Charter Cable Television, Channel 21, on Monday, January 31, at noon, and Wednesday, February 2, at 5:30 pm. Part I of the annual interfaith Thanksgiving Service of Danbury will be shown.

On February 7 and 9, the Thanksgiving Service, Part II will be featured. Leaders and representatives of Protestantism, Catholicism, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism participated in this service and the interfaith spirit of this region can be seen in these programs.

On February 14 and 16, the Rev Mark Horton, pastor of the Newbury Congregational Church in Brookfield, and Protestant chaplain for Western Connecticut State University, will be the guest.

Each week, programs can be seen at noon on Mondays and at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays, with potential time changes in the near future. Programs will also be aired on Comcast Cable (Channel 23), on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 pm and noon, respectively.

Programs highlight the history, creedal formulae and liturgical rites, special celebrations, and community action initiatives of each tradition.
