Bag Sale

NEW MILFORD — The Thrift Mart of New Milford will celebrate the coming of spring with a clothing sale at only $5 per bag of clothing, including handbags and shoes. Additional items will be sold at $1 per item.

The sale will run Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The store is located on Route 7 between Dodd Road and Sunny Valley Road at 146 Danbury Road, behind the professional building located between Ring’s End Lumber and Monroe Muffler, under the red awning.

The store is staffed entirely by volunteers. All proceeds are used for local needs in the New Milford area, including scholarships to college students and high school students about to enter college, New Milford schools (including their plays), New Milford Hospital, social services, and other individuals in the community.

Donations of clothing and household items are accepted during business hours only: from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday.
