Public Events At Kensington Green

SOUTHBURY — Kensington Green of Southbury has a number of free public events planned during March.

The first event, on Thursday, March 3, will be a concert by Mary Morse on accordion and concertina. The performance will begin at 2.

On Monday, March 7, from 1:30 to 3 pm, Hearts Content will present a clothing sale.

The facility will host a hearing and hearing aid clinic with Carol Maksimow, of Hearing Aid Specialists of Southbury, on Tuesday, March 8. Registration is required for the clinic, which will run from 9:30 to 11 am. Call 267-7100.

On Tuesday, March 8, at 2 pm, Jean Hinkson and Helen Falcome will perform a concert called “Irish Medley.”

On Sunday, March 13, “The Eye of the Artists: An Ophthalmologist Looks at Art” will be presented by Dr Vincent DeLuise, a Lasik surgeon of Opticare in Waterbury. His program will begin at 3 pm.

On Monday, March 14, from 10 am to 2 pm, will be Leslie’s Traveling Jewelry & Accessories half price sale.

Then on Tuesday, March 29, from 2 to 4 pm, Weekender’s will present a clothing show and sale. Models are needed.

Kensington Green is at 655 Main Street South (Route 6), next to Pomperaug Elementary School. Call 267-7100 for details on any of these events.
