20 Years For Woodbury Yoga Center
WOODBURY â Woodbury Yoga Center will host a free Sunday evening program on August 1 with its director and co-founder, Janaki Pierson, and others who have been affiliated with the yoga center during its 20-year history. Guest speakers will reflect on how it all came to be, the triumphs and tribulations along the way, and whatâs yet to come.
Ms Pierson has been teaching meditation for over 20 years and has been established in her own daily practice for 29 years. She teaches extensively throughout New England in medical, educational, corporate, and community settings.
Woodbury Yoga Center has been serving the community for 20 years with instruction in traditional meditation and yoga. Its purpose is to share this understanding and the benefits of these practices with neighbors throughout the region. Programs and courses are open to people of all backgrounds. The science of yoga supports the religious diversity of the community.
